Bern, February 24, 2010: World Premiere: Group of internationally renowned artists performs music inspired by painter Paul Klee
The paintings of Paul Klee belong to the most important artworks of the 20th century and are owned and exhibited by the most prestigious museums around the world. But Paul Klee was not only a painter, he was also a writer and philosopher. His philosophical ideas now inspired German composer Thorsten Encke to transpose his writings into music. This composition, which includes acting and visual projections, will be performed for the first time on March 21, 2010, at the Paul Klee Center in Bern, the capital of Switzerland, by musicians coming from Ireland, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. – Shepard Fox Communications developed and managed all PR activities, including flyer and poster promotion, radio interviews, authoring and distribution of media releases as well as recruiting a moderator to introduce the performance.
