“Considering the global shift in political and economic power, I hope the EU will realize it has to act as one if its voice is to be heard on the larger international stage. I also hope the coming G20 summit will be successful in finding sustainable remedies for the financial and economic crisis. If the G20 fails to produce results, the so-called G2 alliance between China and the US will grow stronger. But we all know that the global challenges are too big and complex to be left to two nations to be solved.
