AXA XL, the speciality insurance division of global insurance leader AXA, has been celebrating the 10th anniversary of its operations based in Wroclaw, Poland, with an international event attended by 600 guests that included policy makers, clients, employees, journalists, climate activities, artists as well as representatives of the local government. Since climate risk management is part of the core service offering of AXA XL, “valuing nature” was the overall theme of the event, with a focus water issues. Throughout the event various aspects of the need to better protect our water resources were highlighted in presentations and panel discussions that included NGOs, climate activists, AXA climate and sustainability experts as well as the creators of the documentary “Until the last drop”, which was also shown during the event. – Shepard Fox supported AXA XL over the last year in developing the concept for the event, in planning the event, as well as with the operational event management including speaker recruitment, agenda setting, securing the venue, inviting the guests, organising catering and transportation. Besides the event management, Shepard Fox was also in charge of public and media relations that included press releases, interviews, and the placement of by-line articles.
