Munich, June 22, 2020: As Lufthansa leaves German top stock index, female quota in boards of largest companies drops – Russell Reynolds presents new research – Shepard Fox supports leadership consultancy via content creation
Today is historic day in Germany corporate history. German airline Lufthansa is kicked out of the German stock index DAX, which comprises Germany’s top 30 blue chip companies. New corporations are joining the DAX index as well the mid-cap index M-DAX. Research by Russell Reynolds shows that the newcomers to the two top leagues of listed companies have a striking impact on the overall composition of Boards: they lower the quota of women on the executive boards of the 90 largest German corporations. The research by Russell Reynolds further reveals that this has been happening for the past two years whenever the two leading German stock indices were reshuffled. – Shepard Fox supported the executive search firm by creating media content from the research findings, writing press releases and social media content as well as via contacting media and media monitoring.
