Munich, January 11, 2013: Shepard Fox Communications appointed global lead PR agency of the European Patent Office
Following a public tender and international competitive bidding process, Shepard Fox Communications has been appointed the global lead public relations agency of the European Patent Office, the second largest intergovernmental organisation in Europe with 7000 staff, headquartered in Munich. The European Patent Office, founded in 1977, is in charge of examining and granting patents to applicants from Europe as well as from other parts of the world. Shepard Fox will be advising the European Patent Office on communications strategy and carrying out the planning of communication activities. Central part of the assignment will be the preparation and implementation of media relation activities across Europe, the US, and Asia, including content generation, the creation, localisation and distribution of press releases, organising press events, and arranging interviews with the President of European Patent Office, Benoît Battistelli.
