Finally the number of female top executives is increasing. But what could be celebrated as a big step forward in equal opportunities for women now shows an unexpected downside. Whereas male executive become more attractive to the opposite sex and expand their potential choices by moving up, women in leadership positions have great difficulties in finding a partner, let alone getting and staying married and raising a family. These results of an empirical study by Choice Executive Coaching find an ever greater echo with women. In a full page article in one of Germany’s leading Sunday papers, women are openly speaking about the price they have to pay in their personal lives for professional success. – Shepard Fox Communications arranged for the interviews with both the authors of the study and the female testimonials.
